California State University, Northridge (CSUN) ABSN Spring 2024

Hi everyone,

I wanted to start this thread for the CSUN ABSN program for Spring 2024. I have a 3.8 in my science prereqs. I do not have any volunteer experience, but I will be getting my CNA and BLS certification this month. Application opens on June 6th and closes on August 1st (or earlier due to volume)! Let's connect here & good luck to everyone!

Does anyone know how many people get chosen for an interview vs automatically let in?

I read in another thread that the top 60 applicants were chosen for an interview. I am not sure how many people are automatically let in but the interview is virtual and you post the video on YouTube and the admissions team will watch it through there.

both. I applied on the first day the application opened.

I haven't heard anything. I haven't gotten an interview request yet

Same boat as you I applied the first day applications opened and have not received any news or an interview either.

Me either, haven't received any invite. Emailed CSUN nursing department and said they're still in process of reviewing application. Maybe they're sending invites as they review application ?

 

they said we should be notified of acceptance by November

So glad this thread exist the waiting is killing me LOL. I applied 2 weeks before the deadline. They still have not reached back yet. Any news?
