Hi all! I applied to the fall 2022 cohort when the application first opened.

I have a 3.2 cumulative GPA and a 3.4 prerequisite GPA. I previously majored in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. I have just over 2 years of work experience as a CMA and I have 170 hours of volunteer experience at a Hospital. 
I have only applied to CSUN and hopefully I do not have to apply elsewhere. I really am just hoping for the best because I would really love to be a nurse and the location and length of the program is really convenient for me at this point in my life. Best of luck to everyone who is applying!

I called about 2-3 weeks ago and they informed me that if the application closes in May then we could expect to hear back either June or July but it really just depends on the number of applicants

CSUN's ABSN program application is now closed as of 4/12/2022. Those who submitted yesterday got lucky! LOL. Hopefully it's a good thing that you guys were able to get the application in before the deadline. Good luck to everyone!

Hopefully since they closed the apps early they will give their responses earlier too!

Just wondering, do all of your transcripts say they are evaluated on the portal or not?

Hi all,

I applied for Fall 2022, not so great stats...but here's to hoping.

Undergrad GPA 2.0 - BA in Anthropology

Continued at a CC - Maintained 3.0 consistently

Prereqs GPA - ~3.2

Work experience: Rehab tech/aide for 18 months; CMA for 1 year (current)

Hey Dream25,

I applied the first week it opened; March 9th or so... The email received was through their Gmail given.
