GPA of my prerequisites was 4.0. I had over 500 volunteer hours. I just slightly changed my personal statement, also I started to work as a caregiver.

Hi everyone who received a video interview request. I am confused. I received the email Thursday evening 5/27 and it says we have 5 days from the date of the email to submit. This would mean the due date is tomorrow 6/1 but the email says (6/2 by 4PM). Can anyone confirm that the video deadline is actually 6/2? I was planning on staying up all night to complete it before work.

@Ally.Innnn I did not receive an interview request but just to be safe, I would get it done tonight. That way, there is no fault on your interpretation of the error. Good luck! ?

You will have 5 days from the date of this email to submit the link (6/2/2021 by 4:00 pm- no exceptions). Please understand that videos after the due date will not be accepted and may jeopardize your selection for admission to the program.
Also email had this in bold: Total time for your interview should not exceed 3 minutes.
They gave us an extra day due to the holiday.

As someone who has graduated from this school and knows people who graduated from the newer cohorts, I would advise you not to go to this school. They do not care about the students. All they are concerned about is money. I'm sure you'll be better off at the other Cal states such as CSULA, CSULB, and CSUF. I would even suggest trying to get into a community college. You'll save more money and not have to deal with the frustration of such a disorganized program that's run by "leaders" who don't know what they are doing. If you do get in and this is your only option, then best of luck to you! At least you'll have something in common to complain about with your cohort and CSUN ABSN alumnis.

Can you provide more details? How disorganized they were? What kind of frustration did you experience? I always heard people complaining about private schools, only care about money, not students. For a public school, how is that possible? Honestly, if I didn’t have any choice, I don’t care about what they care about, as long as they let me in and let me graduate, take the exam, I’ll go with it. It is still much cheaper compared with other private schools after all. I also read from the former thread that this program is pretty good. Well, people have different experiences and different opinions. I’m sure you had some bad experiences and that is why you would say so. Would you mind sharing more?

I just emailed my video link to the email provided. Did anyone get a response back? I didn't receive a confirmation email at all.

is anyone extremely overwhelmed with meeting the time limit? I keep exceeding it.
Definitely struggling, I cut out a lot, but made it to the 3 min mark. Try your best to keep it at 3 minutes. Might not look good if their guidelines aren't followed.

Do you think 3 min 1 sec is fine? LOL or should I try and cut out the 1 second?

Hello all!
I was also invited to send in a video interview. I do have recent experience working in healthcare, and my last volunteer experience ended march 2020 because of COVID shutdowns. The time limit was definitely a challenge, I reheorificed a lot before recording and barely made it in under the time limit!
I also have not received confirmation of the email being received, but I only sent it a couple hours ago.
Best of luck to everyone on this thread! ?
