Congrats to all those that received the video request! To those that did, I and the other hopefuls would really appreciate it if you posted you stats. If you feel comfortable and find the time, would you mind sharing your prereq grades + clinical/volunteer experience/hours? Thank you in advance if you share, I would really appreciate learning how I can improve for future applications♥️

Here are my stats: 4.0 prereq,  NO clinical/volunteer or any related experience/certificates. I really don't think I am a very competitive candidate because of my lack of experice. That is why I have to do an interview. For those who didn't get an interview, don't panic or give up! I believe if you have decent prereq GPA and a good amount of experience, you will probably get in without doing interviews. Hope this helps!

Hi! Here are my stats: 3.75 prereq and 0 volunteer hours within the past 2 years. However, I do have volunteer hours from 3, 4, and 5 years ago that I listed on the resume we submitted. I got selected to submit the video interview maybe because I don’t have volunteer experience within the past 2 years (not sure). I also am a CNA.

Stay hopeful! Some people are saying you can get accepted without doing the video interview. So, don’t give up!

It's also in the application where you can download the instructions too.

So I'm kinda freaking out, I just joined this forum two days ago and I'm just now seeing this document with instructions for the personal statement. I even double checked the website after seeing this comment and I still cannot find where this document is hidden. How was something this important hidden in there website? Shouldn't it be directly under application process on the main page. Now I'm pretty sure I'm not getting in because my personal statement does not fully align with there entire prOmpt? I thoight I was a competitive applicant and then I didn't get an interview and I'm pretty sure this is why.

My prereq GPA is 3.7 and I have 1500 clinical hours as a CNA. I probably got invited to an interview due to the fact that my volunteer hours (380 hours) were back in 2018. Best of luck to all!

@Harlie Elizabeth Don't lose hope yet! I understand you must be freaking out right now because you found the instrutions, but you still made a statement, you have competitive grades, and I'm sure there are many here who did all of that and haven't been asked for an interview. I am also one of them!

Yeah it seems like people who don't have experience within 24 months were asked to interview. So for all those who weren't asked to interview you are still in the game!

I've had recent volunteer experience from 2019-2020! I don't know how they decide whether you get an interview or not.

This is my second time I’m applying to this program. The first time I was asked to submit video interview. This time they didn’t ask me . I also have no idea how they choose people for interviews.

Any updates in your application this time compared with last time?

Last time there were asking 2 recommendation letters. I guess this is the only difference!

I mean on your application, have you done anything different? Things like you add some certificate or volunteer experience or related medical  experience. The reason I’m asking this question is I saw a girl mentioned that when she applied to a program, the first time she got rejected, and then the second time she had retaken some prerequisite classes, gained some volunteer  experience and I think she also mentioned that she rewrote her personal statement. And at the end she said the second time she got in. She believed that she re-did many things, which made her application stronger.

Just curious does anyone know how many applications were submitted ?
