California State University, Northridge (CSUN) ABSN Fall 2021

Hi everyone! My name is Monica and I wanted to make this forum for everyone applying to the fall 2021 semester of CSUN ABSN. Good luck everyone ?

Still haven't gotten anything and not even in my CSUN email. How much longer do we have to wait?

I emailed the advisor at CSUN and to be honest, it wasn't completely helpful. He just said we should find out by the end of the month of May. Sigh, we've been waiting too long.

How are you guys planning on funding the ABSN if you get in? The tuition itself is $45k. I’m already anticipating loans but what types of loans are you guys thinking of and what kinds of interests are you willing to pay?

Pretty sure it's for the whole program.

My guess is memorial day week or the week after memorial day.  They'll either push to get them out before the holiday or fail to finish and we'll have to wait until just after memorial day.

I applied to CSUF (was accepted) and CSULA. Also CSULB, which isn't technically accelerated, but does take 2nd bachelors students and the program is only 2 years.

For CSULB did you apply to the MSN program?

No, it's their traditional BSN program.
