Hi, I'm not the cheeseinthetrap, but I'm also attending the same program. it's been aight. experience definitely depends on which instructors you chose for clinicals and which sites you select. I had some bad ones, and one amazing one. But most instructors trend towards great.
Apparently one professor quit suddenly right before fall, and we were stuck with an insanely condescending one who spent the whole semester freestyling everything with no structure.
Overall, the program management is responsive and promotes learning > grades. we get many opportunities to make up work and exam points. I got all As with no AI or cheating, but I am also only working less than 20 hours/mo. so devote my time to studying.

Hi thank you for your response. I'm actually shocked that you get to choose clinical site and instructors. Most schools select it them for you. Are they centrally located to the school or have you driven out for your clinicals ?
I hope to get in and experience an institution that promotes student learning vs metrics.
Do you mind sharing your stats ? Did you have any health care experience or non nursing healthcare experience ?
Do you think working part time would be doable ? Like 20-25 hours / week ?
how has your cohort been ? Are they competitive towards each other ? Friendly? Clicky ?
do you recall your timeline ?
