I accepted my seat since this program is my top choice.

Hi @Alfito, I had all A's except for one science course, 92 TEAS, MPH in public health master's degree, only 65 volunteer hours, and past career in health equity nonprofit. It seems to me like this program really values a holistic approach, and individuals with a variety of experiences, so my inkling is that your unique experience weighs a lot for them, outside of scoring high in the stats. I feel confident that you will find ultimate acceptance somewhere if you managed to get waitlisted for such a selective cohort!

hi! we were given a 4/2 deadline to confirm our interest in the program, so hopefully some of you on the waitlist will hear back soon! I had a 3.8 undergrad GPA, 4.0 prereq GPA, 97 on TEAS, 130 hours of volunteering, and one year of clinical experience. I've been out of healthcare for 1.5 years so that was my biggest fear, but I think I was able to argue my readiness for the program. don't give up hope! from past threads it sounds like people get off the waitlist every year!

I have no idea what my stats are exactly tbh 

TEAS overall 87-89 around there

Science GPA probably 3.5-4.0, IDK how they calculate it 

Undergrad GPA 3.42

Worked as a medical translator for 2 years 

4 years total health care work

Even though I was admitted to the nursing school through the email, on the cal state page it still says application incomplete. I am little bit concerned when the university is going to let us know if we get admitted.

Same here! I also was feeling nervous because I responded to Joe via email but received no confirmation. I replied to the same email I sent regarding a health care question and he replied promptly. I'm going to take that as a light confirmation. haha
