My question was that we were required to have health insurance. My job was cut from full to part time due to EPA 🥶 freezer, so I lost my benefits. I am health insurance-less 

His answer was as such:

"We will go in more detail, and the orientation...In order to meet the health insurance requirement, what our students do is typically purchase a plan on the covered California website. I really wish we were able to provide insurance to students but unfortunately, that is not part of the universities benefit offerings at this time."

based on the last cohorts, can the individuals who have already committed see how many slots are available or if there are any spots open?

we were sent an email from the program coordinator and from the looks of it the email was sent to 37 people. not sure if thats what you're looking for? but the email doesn't detail how many spots available or if any spots are currently open. people might still back out though!

Haven't heard anything yet unfortunately.... I've tried emailing to ask about any updates or status but no response so far. Still have two more weeks until the waitlist closes so hopefully we hear something!

Hello, I was wondering if any of you guys are taking out government loans? Is so did you already submit a request for one? How is the process like? Are we supposed to wait for Cal State La to send us a form or something? I am very confused since it is my first time taking out government loans.

OMG, congrats! It was all worth the wait. By the way, did (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST IDENTIFYING INFO ABOUT OTHERS) send you a separate email? When I replied to his decision email saying that I'm willing to be added to the waitlist, I only received an automatic reply. Now I'm worried if I'm even on the waitlist.

Hello, I got a separate email saying a spot opened up and I was accepted. It also had clearance information and stuff like that.

Work Experience: 1 yr MA, 1 yr CRC, currently a case manager (~3yrs of different healthcare experience)
