Hoping you get in at ELAC. I heard most programs allow alternates who show up to enroll. MSMU is extremely expensive and that is the main factor on why I decided to stop my application. It was too expensive and I had to factor in driving, mileage, car maintenance, and commute to campus and clinicals as they are at Central and West LA.

LOL I would assume that your bluntness might have been a factor in their decision. But I also think that a majority of those who got invited were already alternates to begin with. The dean wanted to see our presentation of self, personalities, and our being.

Yes, exactly there is a lot of opportunity for alternates to be selected or allowed to register during orientation. Which I think they might have all those days on purpose. To weed out a few EARLY on. Hopefully, you get into at least one school and it be your top choice.

I got my email for Cerritos on May 1st. I am also an alternate for ELAC but am no longer interested. Congratulations on MSMU, I was going to go there but clinicals are too far from me.

Hi All, I also got in for Cerritos but for Spring 2027... IDK how I feel about waiting that long but I can also wait it out and start saving up for an extra 6 months of expenses. Anyone else in for S 27'?

HI All, I also got in as an alternate. But I think more seats might open up as the requirements for this program are a lot. We have four mandatory dates to attend. One for orientation and then three Tuesday's during June or July -ish for like an intro to nursing class. I am not too sure that many of us who work can take all that time off.

Hi some students have received their offer. So it looks like they've sent out admission and waitlist offers. Not 100% sure if all slots have been filled but some students have been offered a slot.
