Hi there! 

I wanted to start a forum for those of us applying to CSULA's ABSN Summer 2024 program. I hope we can help answer questions, offer stats, and support each other during this application cycle. All the best to everyone!

How was the interview?

Some of the questions I got were: 

how would your friends describe you 

why nursing 

do you prefer classroom or clinical setting 

tell us about your medical experience 

The people I spoke with were very kind and friendly. If an interview comes up just remember how hard you've worked and explain why you're ready for this.

To create a special place for your cohort:

1.   Create a student "Club" for your cohort by clicking on the "Breakroom/Clubs" link under "Communities" at the top of any page in the upper left on desktop or "Breakroom" under "SpecialSections" in the upper right on mobile.

2.   Click "Start a Breakroom Club".

3.   Invite members at your discretion.

You may post social or mobile application links once in a private group. Keep in mind, clubs will not be moderated, unless a member reports an issue.

I don't think I've seen any other people taken off the waitlist post about it in this forum. But the waitlist will be open until May. Hold on to what hope you have!

Hi all, 

I was just offered a spot off the waitlist!! So excited to be going here and starting with y'all this Summer! 🙂 

I just requested to join the FB group. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow at orientation!

I haven't and same here. Decided to just not think about it until end of May and distract myself LOL
