California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) - ABSN Summer 2023

Published

Hello!!

I wanted to start a forum for those applying to CSULA's ABSN program this upcoming Summer ?
Hope we can all encourage one another and cheer each other on! We can do it!

Anyone else get the email from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) telling us to reapply on the CSULA site?

Yes, same here ? good luck everyone!

I heard back today as well. I was told that I was disqualified for not meeting the cutoff on the TEAS, yet I scored over 80% in every section and a 90% overall.

Does anyone know how I can get in contact with someone? I really can't believe this had to happen to me.

what were your national percentile ranks? they're supposed to be over the 80th percentile

Math- 85%

Science - 86%

English - 96%

Reading- 97%

@Exxtoldid you make sure to take the test within the time frame they asked?? : / you have great scores!!

'TEAS must be taken from June 1, 2022 through January 10, 2023, and may only be taken once during this timeframe.'
^ I copied and pasted that from their application procedure PDF

Yes, I took it January 6, 2023. I also just double checked my Nursingcas to double check I uploaded the correct files; I did.

Also, it didn't tell me I was disqualified for the test date, but because I didn't reach the 80% cutoff and to apply again next cycle.

Thank you about my scores, but I literally was only applying to one school that asked for it; CSLA. So naturally you can understand my frustration here!

When filling out this second application, do we really have to pay another $70? I'm too poor for this ?

@Exxtol Yes, I understand how you feel ?

did you contact anyone and hear back?

Hi guys!

Are we supposed to send another set of official transcripts to the Office of Admissions? I am confused because (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) previous email states "you do NOT need to submit official transcripts to the Office of Admission."
