Hello!! 

I wanted to start a forum for those applying to CSULA's ABSN program this upcoming Summer ?
Hope we can all encourage one another and cheer each other on! We can do it!

I emailed Jennifer for clarification since I got 2 emails stating different things. She said to submit another set of official transcripts!

Anyone else considering attending UC masters entry schools (LA, Irvine, etc...?), but still trying to wait for Cal State LA decisions?

Feeling super nervous :’) It's my first time applying/being interviewed. If anyone has tips on how to prepare for it or some possible questions they ask, it would be much appreciated!

OMG congrats! I've been so nervous checking my email daily! Were you notified through email or the portal? Also I've never interviewed so I would also be nervous but I'm sure you'll do great! I have been looking up YouTube videos about nursing school interviews and writing down my answers to common questions! I would practice with others in advance. Based off the videos it's basically the best you can do. Hopefully we all hear back soon!

Yeah, honestly I was sooooo surprised since my GPA from undergrad was pretty low! I did manage to get A's in all my classes afterwards though. I'm not sure which GPA they look at but:

prerequisite GPA: 3.74 // 3.81 including the 3 additional classes

cumulative GPA (all colleges): 3.6

TEAS: 92.0%

I'm not really sure how to see my application status LOL. I just tried looking through the GET student center, but I don't see anything. I'm on my phone though, so it's a little hard to navigate!

I was notified through email! Thank you so much for the advice!! I'll definitely start doing that since I chose this Friday for my interview date. I feel like I should've given myself more time :’) ahah

I also got an interview invite! Thank goodness, my GPA was also low. Here's my stats:

Overall GPA: 3.5

TEAS: 92%, TEAS percentile: 99%

Experience: 2 years working on a COVID med/surg tele floor as a CNA.

Did anyone else submit their transcripts electronically through Parchment? CSULA should have received one of mine, but it doesn't seem to have processed. My application also says "incomplete.”
