Hope we can all encourage one another and cheer each other on! We can do it!

I also got an interview invite! Thank goodness, my GPA was also low. Here's my stats:

Overall GPA: 3.5

TEAS: 92%, TEAS percentile: 99%

Experience: 2 years working on a COVID med/surg tele floor as a CNA.

congrats!! I think it helped that we scored in the 99th percentile for the TEAS ? I don't have much experience though.

As for your transcript question, I think it'll be fine since it seems that the same thing happened with previous years, but there wasn't any issues!

Did you have any experience at all when applying? Im a bit similar to both of your stats with a 92% TEAS and didn't get the best grades in undergrad but managed to get 3.8 pre requisite GPA and had about 2-3 years experience as an EMT. I've been really anxious waiting to hear back. Did you apply to other schools? I also applied to SFSU and CSUSM. I got into CSUSM for Spring 2023 but declined since it was so last minute and I didn't feel prepared to start in January!

congrats to those that got an interview!! for those that didn't- do you think we still have a shot?

I graduated just Spring of last year, so I haven't had much time to gain experience. I've been volunteering in a healthcare setting (direct patient care) working with underserved communities since August and have been working as a CNA since October. I also had a healthcare experience abroad that I think made my application stand out, but it happened quite some time ago.

I also applied to SFSU, USFCA, some other ABSN programs, and CC's local to me like CCSF. Don't lose hope yet though! There's still interview times available for the next few weeks, so they're definitely still going through the applications.

Is there a reason you didn't apply to UC's?

Hi, all. Thanks for making this forum.

Ahh, high-key, I am really nervous now that people have gotten interview invites. I hope they continue to send those out.

I applied with a 3.25 undergrad GPA but my science pre-req GPA is higher, if that counts. I also have a 3.5 graduate GPA bc I have a masters degree in social sciences. I scored a 92% on the TEAS. I did the COPE Health Scholars program recently for 15 months (300 hours), and just got my CNA license. I made that clear in my application and personal statement.

sending good vibes and hope we all get invites and into the program!

I also applied to Concordia University in Irvine and CSUN.

I believe because most of them were entry level masters. I also felt it might be better option price wise. Most of the ABSN programs I was looking into in California were either Cal states or private schools. I did apply to an out of state school too.

I've seen in past forums that they continue to send out invites into March but Im not so sure how they are going about it this year.

Hi all!

I want to begin by saying that we should all be proud of where we are, and I truly believe everything will fall into place for each of us despite all of the anxiety that this process puts us through. With that being said, congratulations to those who have so far received an interview.

I do have a question for you who have... does your status on the GET website still show a yellow triangle and "incomplete"? I received a 93% overall on TEAS, 4.0 science pre req and 4.0 undergrad GPA, & 201 service hours. Wondering if I needed more service hours and/or if they are still sending invites? I know they review applications holistically but overall felt really good about my essays and letters of recc. Kind of worried that my app says incomplete tbh. Can someone who has been invited to interview give me insight to this whole "incomplete" status on GET? I'd truly appreciate it! Again, congrats!!

best of luck to all ❤️

Your stats are amazing! They're definitely still sending out invites since I still see open interview time slots. I also just checked, and I still have the incomplete symbol on GET even though I've received an interview invite.

Thank you for the response and beam of hope LOL! Best of luck to you, I hope you get in! ?

I'm feeling so lost ? what's GET? I only recently submitted my app via CalState APPLY. Is GET something that comes after?
