California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) BSN Program - Spring 2026

Published

Hi all!

I wanted to start a forum for students who applied to CSULB's nursing program for Spring 2026. I turned in all parts of my application and I'm just waiting to hear back...super uneasy about what my CASPER will look like! Please leave any updates, advice, or questions, good luck everyone 🙂

at what time did you get it? you think they're sendings them in batches?

I got mine at 2:33pm today. I'm not 100% sure if they send them in batches but I'm guessing they probably are!

I got mine at 2:33pm too. I live in NorCal so I asked if there's any virtual or asynchronous options for the Communication Exercise. I'll update about that!

Update! I emailed and they said there MAY be makeup interviews (they're waiting on confirmation) and that these would be virtual. If you are unable to make it in person, theres a good possibility you could take this route. I'm just waiting for a 100% from CSULB about this.

what time slot did you guys get?

I got 11 am! How about you?

nice ! I got at 9am.

HEY GUYS! I hope everyone's communication exercise went well! for those who need to make it up, I was informed that the only date is oct. 28, so CHECK YOUR EMAILS! (a friend told me this; I attended in person) anyways, transfers typically hear back first about their admission status & then the CSULB pre-nursing students hear the week after. Spring 2025 heard back ~nov 2nd, so we will hear back really soon. wishing alll of you the best of luck, be proud of yourself for making it this far ❤️

I was wondering if anyone could share their experience about the communications exercise, I'm doing the makeup option and feeling a little nervy about it all 😭 I hope everyone did well!!

The communication exercise wasn't too bad. If it's the same for the makeup option, then you will have a writing portion (after watching a video), an activity w/ a partner, and a speaking portion. The faculty members were really nice, which helped me feel less nervous. Good luck with yours!

hey everyone! I think many of you are transfers (im an internal csulb prenurs. student), and I wanted to let you guys know that transfer acceptances are rolling out for all majors. nursing is one of the last ones tho bc it's extremely impacted. however, keep looking at your student portals!! I think they concluded interviews today.

your admission status will first be updated in your portal before you even receive an email. and for my internal csulb students, we typically hear abt a wk after transfers 🙂 wishing the best of luck to all ❤️
