Hi all!
I wanted to start a forum for students who applied to CSULB's nursing program for Spring 2026. I turned in all parts of my application and I'm just waiting to hear back...super uneasy about what my CASPER will look like! Please leave any updates, advice, or questions, good luck everyone 🙂

hi jayar! I think it's safe to assume that you were rejected:( I know it's not the best news to hear, but rejection is redirection! it only takes one nursing school. someone's going to want you more than csulb, and you WILL THRIVE there!! best of luck to you & everyone else in this thread ❤️

My three friends transferred in for nursing & were accepted! I asked if I could share their stats through this forum & they said yes, so here they are:
We all accumulated 300 volunteer hours respectively (all of which were hands-on patient care), and were also able to take one of the core nursing classes (pathophysiology) before applying.
Hey Yall!
Didn't get any email whatsoever but I did attend the communications exercise. I had to request an admission update in the request bot thingy to find out that I've been waitlisted.
I'm pretty bummed out about this but I'm so grateful to have sfsu to fall back on.
Stats:
4.0 cgpa
4.0 sgpa
3rd quartile CASPR
I work as an emt in the bay so abt >600 hours.
Congrats to everyone who got in though!!
