California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) BSN Program - Spring 2026
My three friends transferred in for nursing & were accepted! I asked if I could share their stats through this forum & they said yes, so here they are: Friend 1 - cGPA: 3.8, sGPA: 4.0, 3rd quartile CASPer Friend 2 - cGPA: 4.0, sGPA: 4.0, 4th quartile CASPer Friend 3- cGPA: 3.7, sGPA: 3.25, 4th quartile CASPer We all accumulated 300 volunteer hours respectively (all of which were hands-on patient care), and were also able to take one of the core nursing classes (pathophysiology) before applying.

hi jayar! I think it's safe to assume that you were rejected:( I know it's not the best news to hear, but rejection is redirection! it only takes one nursing school. someone's going to want you more than csulb, and you WILL THRIVE there!! best of luck to you & everyone else in this thread ❤️

hey everyone! I think many of you are transfers (im an internal csulb prenurs. student), and I wanted to let you guys know that transfer acceptances are rolling out for all majors. nursing is one of the last ones tho bc it's extremely impacted. however, keep looking at your student portals!! I think they concluded interviews today. your admission status will first be updated in your portal before you even receive an email. and for my internal csulb students, we typically hear abt a wk after transfers ? wishing the best of luck to all ❤️
