Members are discussing their acceptance, denial, or waitlist status for admission to the CSUF nursing program. Some users have received official acceptance letters, while others are still waiting for updates on their application status. There is also a discussion on how to check application status on the CSUF portal and sharing experiences of being accepted off the waitlist.
Hi Everyone!
I wanted to create this forum because I haven't seen one for this cycle. I figured it would be a good way to connect with others who are going through the application process, are scared, nervous, excited, or lost. (or maybe all of the above) Also just a great way to stay updated with the application cycle. The application closes on Nov 1st! ?
Would love if anyone wanted to introduce themselves, and why they decided to apply to CSUF ABSN
I will start!
I am in my last semester of college! WOO WOO! Graduating with my bachelors in Kinesiology, at CSUF. I chose CSUF because besides the obvious fact that I am already going attending this school, I would love to stay local! PLUS I am applying to as many schools as I can. (Just hoping I get into one ;-;)
I just submitted my a few days ago (I know late) but I unfortunately had a lot of unexpected events happens in the past two month that caused a huge delay ? so I am hoping it doesn't affect my application too much.
Good luck everyone, I wish we could all just get accepted.

Someone mentioned that they think rejection letters might be sent out via regular mail but I doubt it. I've already received a few rejections and they were all via email.
IDK, state ABSN programs are very competitive and I don't think people would not want to go there whereas private schools would have their waitlist move better imo

Congrats on your acceptances! I applied and had an interview for both of them too, but no luck (alternate). I guess I need to work on my interview skills 😭 luckily I did get accepted to an ABSN here in the bay which is 3 semesters but I really wanted to move to SoCal
I did not hear back yet either, so I assume rejection as well. Don't give up! I got my hopes down after getting a couple rejections, but it will get better! I got rejected from UCI, Western, and I assume CSUF too, but got into UCLA! I don't know how, but I guess each program looks for different things and values certain things differently than others!
HIIIII EVERYONE!! I made a facebook group for the incoming class of Fall 2024! I thought it would be a good way to connect! Please join 🙂

Same here. I really want to get into CSUF. I calculated my points and got 96 but I still haven't heard back from them so I'm assuming I got rejected. Very disappointing 😭
