California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) BSN WAS Summer Fast Track

I’m going to start CSUDH BSN Summer program soon, I was wondering how difficult it’s going to be and if I can work during the Summer course. It’s all online except for next Summer for a weekend hands skills. Does anyone have any input on CSUDH BSN

Hi Jess, I am thinking of applying to the program for this Summer and had a similar question. Also how many times did you have to go on campus and was it one class for Summer session A and another class for Summer session B? I'd greatly appreciate your help! Thank you!

I did get an acceptance just a couple days ago but I decided to go with another program due to my experience just inquiring about the program with them. No one would answer e-mails, no one was willing to answer questions or have a zoom/phone advising meeting. The lack of support and communication was worrisome considering the program is online and our main source of communication would be e-mail or phone calls.

Hello!  I was wondering if anyone had decided to attend the CSUDH BSN Summer Fast Track program?  If so, how was the zoom Health Assessment class?  What did they have the students do exactly during zoom?  I've been accepted to start Summer 2021 but I have some questions regarding what is expected for Health Assessment and how many days is required for the clinical portion near the end of the program?

I’m attending this Summer. There was no “health assessment” class that I’m aware of; normally you do that during your 1st semester of ADN program.

there is an orientation via zoom that is mandatory though.

I think there's a in person Health Assessment near the end of the program.  They had zoom and video submissions due to the pandemic but next Summer it will be in person on campus.  At least that's what was said by the nursing department.

Hello!  I'm so torn whether to go with CSUDH or Ohio University RN-BSN program.  How was the group projects with CSUDH?  Can someone elaborate on what the instructors are seeking for in the essays and discussion boards?  What was the maximum amount of tuition paid one semester for nursing courses only not with electives? And how was the clinical portion experience for the Public Health Certificate?  Any insight will be greatly appreciated!
