how long did u have to wait for your names to be in the website after your nclex?
i know that average is 3-10 days...but i just want to know from your experiences the length of time that you waited..and also,,,do you know if it is also possible that you don't see your name on their website but when the letter comes,,it says you passed???
i'm so confused and freaking out right now cause a girlwho took the test the same day as i am already knew that she passed form the website,,,,does it mean that i failed cause til now my name is not there???? h e l p:o

Big question is whether or not one has a SSN# when they submitted their applicaiton to the BRN. There are many things that are also needed to be done before one sees their name on the website if you do have a SSN#. Your file needs to be complete, your fingerprints need to be approved and cleared, and at times there are issues with those.
Recommendation is always to wait for two weeks before contacting them. Your file once complete needs to be reviewed by a human before a license is issued and it depends on where your file is on their desk.
Average is ten days, and we have seen up to a month to get the license. Not seeing your name on their website as of yet is not proof of anything at this point.
Best of luck to you.

Good luck to you rnlyssa. I haven't taken my boards yet but I will soon. I can only imagine how anxious you are feeling. I don't know how true this is, but I heard the BRN posts license verifications alphabetically so maybe the other girl's last name comes before yours. Think happy thoughts. :roll
Thanks RN_to_be...thanks for still giving me hope,,,,no big envelope YET as of the moment so i guess i still have that 1% chance that i pass right? haha...goodluck on your test!wish you all the best
You are welcome!

I dont know if you've gotten your results yet. but recently it only took my friends and I about 3 days to get posted.
HOWEVER, its nothing to worry about. My roomate last year had a similar problem. all her friends were posted within a week, she was sure she failed because of it. around 3-4 weeks later her name was posted. remeber what suzanne said, a million things in your file can hold it up! good luck!
PS if you passed youll get a big envelope and a small envelope. And its not for sure which comes first. One is your paper liscence. And the small envelope is the small plastic carriable id card liscence thinger.
