California RN License Verification

I was wondering if anyone has had to get their RN license verification from California? If so, how long did it take? I submitted mine 9/17 and it shows they received it on 9/30. I’m currently getting my Oregon License by endorsement and license verification is the last thing I need. Frustrating!

Hey Meg!

Did you ever get the license? I was able to keep my application open with Washington state after emailing, so thank you for that tip! I finally got through and was told they mailed the letter to Washington’s board around 2/10, or a week or so ago. Now I’m just hoping, after all this, it actually arrives there hahaha

I did! They say the mailed it Jan 12 and It finally arrived in Utah on Feb 2nd. Sooo it takes its sweet time!

Sheesh! LOL, maybe they print the shipping label and pack it but don’t actually ship it for awhile... either way, glad it finally worked out for you! Hopefully same here, and for everyone else who might stumble across this thread in their own struggles with the BRN

Hello! I apologize as I know this is an old thread. But I am a new grad looking to endorse my CA license to Minnesota. Now that California participates in Nursys as of March 10. How long do you think it will take to get my license transferred to Minnesota? Does Nursys make this process instant or does it still take some time?

Thanks in advance!

Oh my gosh yesssss!! So happy to hear this! I cringed everytime I thought about travel nursing in the future and having to go through the months long process with the California Board of Nursing again.

Nursys, I believe, is instantaneous, so Minnesota should receive it same day you endorse it to them.
