You guys just made me feel a new glimmer of hope. I took the NCLEX on the 19th and I have not got results yet. I assumed I failed, but this posting gives me new hope... I still have no clue how I did, but at least I know others waited a long time too...California BRN is killing me. I have cried every day when I check the website and do not see my name with a license. Does your degree/transcripts have to be posted in order to get a license #. I know that my school is not going to send my transcripts off until Febuary....??????:uhoh21::uhoh21::uhoh21::uhoh21::uhoh21::uhoh21::uhoh21::uhoh21::uhoh21:
Hey nursekimmi,
Dont worry my friends both found out today they passed. One of them took their NCLEX on the 18th and barely found out today. So your still good. But I think you have to have your transcripts in and your file complete before they release the results, but I could be wrong. Hopefully someone else could shed some light on that. Well good luck and dont be discouraged, California seems to take FOREVER! I take mine on Monday so I am freaking out.............

Most states will not even let you take the exam until your file is complete and they have your set of transcripts. CA is about the only one that does it this way. When you get issued a license, it means that you have met all requirements to be an RN in CA, and without a set of transcripts, they can't say that. That is something that needs to be taken up with your school, not the BRN.
I took the California NCLEX-PN on December 28 and the results were in my mailbox on January 9.One of my friends took her NCLEX on Jan 18th and no results yet, another took it Jan 24th and no results. If anyone took California NCLEX, can you tell me how long it took for you to get results. I know the wait is really going to make me nuts. Thanx
Nina9404, to find out if you passed via the website, click on the online permanent license verification link on the right of the CA brn's main webpage and when the next page appears, type your name there, if your name appears, then congrats, you passed and you are now an rn, if not, it may be that your results are not in yet or that you have failed. i took the exam on jan 25 and saw my name in the website on the 28. I almost jumped with the sight of my name and had to refresh the page twice to check if what i see is true. best of luck to everyone and congrats to all who passed
