I decided to start a thread for those who are applying to the Providence Health TIP Program that starts in September 2018.

Today, I received an email from a recruiter from Providence that wants to talk to me!

Just went to a panel interview at Providence in burbank. They were all nice and welcoming. They said they will start contacting for job offers around 7/3 or the first week of July.

There were 5 nurse managers from different dept including ICU, Med surg/ortho, tele, and OR. I actually did the 2nd interview 2 days ago with tele unit with 4 nurse managers/leaders from the unit....I am not sure if other unit had 2nd interview because my friend who did the same program 2 years ago, she said she had only one interview. I am keeping my fingers crossed!!

Has anybody that has applied at Holy Cross or Tarzana heard back or is it just Burbank that has done interviews so far?

I am part of another group on facebook and so far no one has heard back except from Burbank. Also the consensus is that the Mission Hills location is not participating in the TIP program this time (except for an ER and an ICU position, which they believe will be filled internally). Another location allegedly not participating is St John's. I have not heard anything regarding Tarzana or any of the other locations. I picked L&D and NICU (in Burbank and Mission Hills) as my first choices and am starting to think they won't have any openings this time around :(

Hi everyone! So happy I found this thread! I, too, applied to the TIP program. My top choices were L&D & Postpartum & I picked Mission Hills & Burbank. I haven't heard anything back & the status on my application hasn't changed since 6/16. I did get an email from a recruiter a few weeks ago but not for the TIP program, she saw my LVN experience & wanted to hire me as an LVN. Anyway, hope we all hear back soon!

No, but I keep hearing that a lot of the facilities are not even participating this time around. I've heard Tarzana, mission hills and St. John's are are not accepting applicants. I applied for L&D and NICU for Burbank and mission hills. Who knows if they even have availability at Burbank for those units.
