:crying2: am living here in santa cruz county but sad to say i really got no job offers. i didnt work for two years coz i need to take care of my twins. i used to work in NICU before in another country though.

Most of my job offers are in Stockton and Sacramento. In my phone interview, they said that their place is not as nice as santa cruz county, although my husband and i are considering to visit the place am kinda wondering why they told me that.:uhoh21:

:o I use to live in California. I had heard that Stockton and Sacramento get very hot in the summer. However, if you want a steady job and job security perhaps you should relocate. Good luck

I heard that its hot there in the summer..... my twins might not take it. but if my job offer is good i might consider it. here in santa cruz county the houses are really very expensive making it more difficult to own one.:o

thanks a lot!

I lived in Sacramento for 3 years and have family in Stockton. Yes it gets very hot so you get alot of homes or apts equiped with AC to keep the places cool. When you step outside though it is burning up. During the winter is is very rainy and cold. I miss it. I loved being there though because Sacramento is still growing. Sacramento has alot of hospitals. I used to work for the main Ambulance company there AMR so I have been to all of them. I don't know alot about Stockton but I hear it is pretty slow there too and growing.

I wish you the best of luck and hope that you find a place that is comfortable for you.

I am in Southern California now and there are so many openings at the hospitals for RN and LVN it is crazy. I will be happy when I get into and through school.

:)

My husband and I considering down south too because most of our friends are working there kinda nice place to live too.

Thanks a lot regarding the info bout Sacramento, that really helped a lot!

Good luck to your studies!

I was browsing saw this post which is exactly my dilemma... We as a family want to move to sacramento since our relatives are there. We're currently in NY wanted to settle but the cost of living here is way unreasonable. Any advice? Do you know hospitals that sponsor relocation? Or should we do travel nursing first? Any input will help... Oh me and my wife are both RN...Thanks!
