Breeze Status "Pending Open"

I'm in the process of applying for licensure in CA by endorsement.

- May 5: Application submitted in person

- May 11: Check cashed

- May 12: Got email to activate Breeze account

My Breeze status originally said "pending - missing education history." (When I went to the office, the woman at the window explained that doesn't mean they never got your transcripts. Instead it usually means a human just hasn't verified that all the coursework has been completed.)

Recently (not sure exactly when), my Breeze status changed to "pending - open."

- Does this mean my file is actually being reviewed even though the website says they're currently working on applications received Match 1-15?

- How soon after this status change have people received their licenses or been told something's missing or there's a problem with the application?

Mine was pending-open from the get-go. I believe it just means that your file is complete and they aren't waiting on anything on your end. It does not mean they are reviewing it, unfortunately.

Where on the breeze website can you check your application status? I can't seem to get passed the quick start menu and there is no information regarding my status anywhere. Just states an RN file # and that no license information is available. I'm at the part of the process where I'm waiting for the school to send my transcripts.

Call your school and ask when did they send your transcripts, and ask if they have any proof that the Ca BoN actually recieved them. After that, call the BoN and press 0. This was the only way I ever got someone on the phone. "0" is not an option that the machine offers but it's worked for me everytime I called and used this method. Look forward to a 10 - 20 min hold time. Have your name, ssn, & RN file number ready just in case they ask. Also have the dates your school said they sent the transcripts.

If you are having problems with the BoN, contact your state assembly member. I had to do this in order to actually get my ATT because the BoN was horrible at this time. Basically BoN claimed i didn't include my fingerprints form, which i did. wasted 2.5 months waiting on them and they sent a letter saying I didnt include my fingerprints. Not to mention how hard it is to getthem on the phone. Contacted my assembly member & two weeks later I was allowed to test.

I recently applied for a CA nursing license via the endorsement process and it says open now and the education history that it said it was missing is no longer there. Does anyone know how long it will take after it says open? How long did it take you after it said open did you get yours?

Hi there

Im sorry if I am posting this in the wrong discussion. I am a canadian nurse applying by examination to the state of california...I received a letter that i needed to upload a copy of my ssn (although that wasnt in the requirements of the application, AND my ssn is already on file).. and submitted that and now I am waiting. I tried to check the status of my application, but its no longer there and all I can see is the File number on the top left corner. Does anyone know what this means? Any insight would be appreciated.

When click on details it shows  a date and on application name it says submit additional document and on status it says open. My file is expired 5/19/ 2022 bot all my paperwork was received before my due date. Can someone help me. If you had any similar massages on on breeze.
