California Nursing School that accepts MS and OB subject deficiency

Published

Good day everyone.

I currently applied for NCLEX RN here in California and after evaluation they told me I am deficient from MS and OB subjects. Do you know any school that offers to take up only the 2 subjects here in LA area?

Thank you very much!

Hello i recently applied for the nclex rn last nov here in cali. I am from LA area too. My school just submitted the requested addtl docs last january 15 so i am still waiting for the boards reply regarding my application. Is it ok if i ask you what were the addtl docs the board asked from u? Thanks

They just asked me to submit the copy of my ssn card and college diploma but they asked my brother his cases and school calendar.

Hi @raymay so u mean the board just asked you for your ssn and diploma? Then how were they able to figure out u need to take ms and ob if they didnt ask for your cases? So for your brother, did the board already reply regarding his application?

I dont know what happened why they did not asked for it, i am still contacting my analyst. My brother is still processing it with the school .

I hope they overlooked... Cause who knows u might have concurrent theory and clinicals

Please keep me posted

Unitek at Fremont Ca., offers those deficient classes. Very very expensive though. So if you went overseas to keep your education cost low, you pretty much got screwed.

Thank you for your information.

Hi! I have the same problem with the deficiencies and heard that Unitek in Fremont offer those classes. Did you already appply? How was it? Thanks!

Jacquilinep. Yes I did apply in Unitek but it was so expensive. They contacted me for a slot on Med surg but I had to decline for now because of the financial aspect.
