Hi! I recently took the nclex-RN on 9/13/16 and anxiously waiting results. I did the PVT and got the "good pop up." California has a bad reputation of results and applicants sporadically getting their results/ATT and does not always follow the wait time listed on the BRN website.. anyone take their nclex around the same time and have gotten or are waiting results?? On the website it estimates 2-4 weeks, which is really long to wait to see if you passed or not!
@aishamarshall it hasn't posted yet I have a question! On breeZe, on the left hand side under "manage applications" does yours say "registered nurse- RN file #xxxxxx?" I know that it used to just say "registered nurse RN#xxxxxx." Idk if it means anything at all though... what does yours say?
@payneco hope you get yours soon! Most people seem to get it within 48-72 hours, hope you're one of them!
@CA_nurse90 so last night I tired to long on to BREEZE but the system was down due to maintenance. Mine says the RN File #xxxxxxx as well! If you notice on the main BREEZE page it says LICENSE SEARCH before it use to say VERIFY A LICENSE. So I believe they just updated the page. But isn't it a good sign if our application is still up after all this time? I have read they take it down if you fail and I failed the test three times and each time they took it down within one day. Also Pearson is still not letting me register and when I failed all three times the the following day I paid the 200. I wouldn't worry honestly, I believe we both passed based on my exeperience the past three times.
@aishamarshall 2 weeks have passed since the nclex! For the past 2 weeks I've been scouring the Internet for people like us, who wait way more than 48 hours for results. About 90% of people I speak to don't wait this long.. Ps thank you for your words if encouragement! However, I feel that this long wait strips us of the opportunity to be excited with our friends and family
@Ca_nurse90 have you been doing the PVT still? Is it still giving you the good pop up or you stopped doing it? I know how you feel, it does suck. But we just have to continue to be patient. Hopefully we get something this week! That will be awesome. Continue to keep me updated okay girl?
Hi @missyak92! I also graduated from nursing school in Nevada, and took my NCLEX-RN here in CA. I would send in all your paperwork as soon as you can. I submitted everything (except my official transcript from nursing school) on April 25th. I graduated on June 2nd, and my school sent out our transcripts 4 days later. It took me 2 1/2 months to receive my ATT (I got it August 19th), and took my NCLEX on September 26th. If I could have done it all over again, I would have sent it in March. Therefore, I would recommend 3 months earlier at least. Hope this helps!
@payneco congratulations!! thats awesome news! What are your plans now? Good luck on your endeavors!
@jllamoca for the PVt, you sign onto Pearson and try to register a test again, go through all the steps. When you reach the page about credit card info, use your credit card but makeup an expiration date. Then click submit. The "good pop" says that you cannot register again because you have made a registration already.. "Bad pop up" tells you to put an accurate credit card. It helps give you a peace of mind but it's not always reliable (bad pop up is not always bad). If you have other questions about PVT, YouTube has tutorials that walk you through all the steps. Good luck :)
