Congrats! I still don't know my result yet and I took it July 1! It's not only driving me crazy, but also my mom, my grandparents, and my aunt. We are all going stir crazy! When I called BRN they said they needed to review my transcript. I asked if they even recieved it, and they never gave me a straight answer. All they said is that it won't be much longer and I'll get my result. But to make me feel a little better...2 other people I know who took their NCLEX July 3rd still didn't get their result nor did someone else who took the exam June 27.

nevermind. 2 out of three of those people I listed have their name posted. It's just me and and the other person I know who took the exam June 27.

hica - i know the waiting is awful - if possible, try to keep yourself as busy, though i know it's not easy - i forced myself to go to the movies, reorganize closets, anything i could do to try to take my mind off of the waiting. anyway, i hope you will get an answer soon. hang in there! turtlegirl

A friend of mine was up on July 4th in the morning. I do not know of anyone else who has taken it since then. I took mine on the 28th and still no post. It took a friend of mine 16 days for it to come up on the site. They are SLOW! I fear that I failed it, but who knows. If it took her that long, then it is probably not too bad. Then again, it takes others 3 days to come up. I just wish that california offered the pearson "quick results", then we would all sleep better. Does anyone know why they don't offer it in Ca?

The only rationale I heard about CA not having quick result is that they want to "save us money". But wouldn't you rather pay even 200 dollers rather than countless stress and worries of the unknown?

A part of me fears that I failed the exam, the other part of me feels I passed but that the results are slow to be posted. My parents though, especially my mom, are pretty much convinced I failed. Everytime they talk to me, they talk to me as if I failed and need to take the exam again. It's really fustrating.

Hello hica19--

I am so sorry to hear about your wait! And your family being 'sure' you failed is not helping matters. It appears that many people are waiting a long time to see their name posted on the website. My friend took the exam in April and waited almost 2 weeks. After calling our school and multiple calls to the Board it turned out that there was a paperwork issue. One person she would talk to at the board would say they didn't have her paperwork, then another person would say the DID have it but it was still being processed. Please try (I know it's hard) to keep your hopes up. I bet you passed!

What my friend found out was that the Cali Board will give you your ATT to test without requiring all of the transcripts to be received by the board. THis is why they don't do quick results because not everyone who tests automatically has had their transcripts completed and sent to the board. Giving out results, and therefore licenses, before confirming that the test taker actually completed nursing school and graduated, would be premature. But that's totally frustrating for us. Try your best to keep up your spirits.

I wonder how often people's transcripts get misplaced at the BON. This morning, I checked BON for my results, and still nothing. Called BON. Was told they were still waiting to verify my transcript before posting the results...which means they don't think they have it. So then I called my school. They told me they sent my transcript back in May. Called BON again, this time a different person answered the phone. This time this person actually went to look for my transcript, but couldn't find it. So then today I went back to my school physically and requested them to send my transcript again. This time I paid to have it sent next day air. School said the transcript will be mailed out tomorrow and BON will recieve it by Wednesday. Hopefully my results will be posted by midnight Wednesday or on Thursday.

What I think though is that maybe my transcript got stuck to the back of someone elses, so it got misplaced. Don't think it got lost in the mail since I know schools send out everyone's transcripts in bulk. It's just really fustrating that BON does not let us know if they are missing anything from us. Good thing I called and found out the reason or else I may be sitting and worrying for months and still not get my results. I understand BON needs our transcripts before issuing a license. But I wonder why they even let us test without a transcript? Wouldn't it make more sense and cause less of a headache if we have everything turned in, including our transcript before we can even test?

ARghhhhhhh...this wait is so agonizing! I just spent 20 dollers yesterday to have my transcript sent to BON again. Today I called BON and they said they recieve 200-300 transcripts a day and it can take one to two weeks to process even if they recieved mine today. Just because it seemed like BON lost my transcript, I have the suffer. My life is on hold. I could be doing so many things right now...either if I had passed or not. But now only thing I can do is wait an agonizing wait.

Is there any rhyme or reason to how results show up on the BRN site? I have a friend who took the exam a day before me and one that took it the day after. We all took it at different testing centers. Both of them are listed as Permenant Licensee's but mine is not.....Doesn't put me at ease. Anyone have a similar experiance?? I took it the 6th and it shut off at 75 questions.
