california NCLEX results today

i really don't know...but the waiting is driving me crazy! everyone i know that has recently taken the test in california has passed and has had their license posted within 3 days.

I know! It's driving me crazy also! I cannot move forward with my summer plans until I get my results...either good or bad. Already got a great job lined up, but it requires relocation. My parents don't want to go apartment hunting until I get my results back. I'm also hoping to take a short vacation to the east coast before I start working, and I'm especially hoping to be able to make it to Rhode Island on July 29 to see my favorite American Idol contestant, Anthony Fedorov, peform and also to meet him. All those plans depends on my results.

another possibility is that maybe more people take the NCLEX around this time, so the everything takes more time to process.

well, let's hope results post tonight at midnight - i know i'll be checking! i hope the best for both of us - though i've been obsessively going over the test in my mind and know i made some really dumb mistakes...sigh

I've tried to not think about it so much other than checking the CA BON site. I'm planning to call the BON today to make sure they have recieved all my documents though. Just to be safe.

Hi there--

I do think the Board has not issued any licences since Monday becasue there are no new numbers posted since then. I also have been going in this week for physicals and its been hard to keep up my spirits. I was thinking of calling the Board and asking if my paperwork is complete. Sometimes that can cause a delay. Maybe you should call them too? It might make us feel better and maybe they'll say they've had a delay in posting licensces this week. It must be from the holiday.

Hi - Thanks, I think I will call the BRN again to check on my paperwork (that is, after I go in for this physical today)! I am trying to think positively about the test, but it has been really difficult. I'm glad I found this website, because it is helpful to know that almost everyone goes through these emotions after taking the NCLEX. It helps to be able to vent to others going through the same thing, because I am surely driving my family and friends crazy! Best of luck to you! Lily

Best of luck everyone! Here's some new news...one person I know just called the BON and was told the computer system is acting wierd right now but for us to keep on checking. This is probably causing the delay.

Great! I just called BON and they said they still need to review my transcript. Hope that won't take long. It's not really the pass/fail that's bothering me...it's the unknown.

i am feeling that whole "fear of the unknown" thing, too. i feel like such a pest, but i called the brn again, this time to check on my paperwork and was told that all was in order. i asked if it was true that they had not received any test scores this week (which is what the previous operator told me), but this one said she had not heard that and that the brn doesn't have a set time frame as to how long it will take to post new licenses on line.
