California NCLEX results

Updated:   Published

I took NCLEX PN today I submitted my exam @ 3pm at 85 questions. I don't know how to feel about it but I kept going with my day until now I did try the PVT and got the "good pop up" but I should wait and check tomorrow. My question is, I was hoping to see my results in 48 hours BUT according to the NCSBN that doesnt appply in California. So, how are we supposed to know our results?

It's honestly just a waiting game for California. Buuut to give you a timeframe:

1. On my breeze account, in the first drop down menu, "initial application for licensure" showed up 3 days after I took my exam. Paid it right away.

2. I received my "congratulatory" letter that states I may be able to pay for my license (official results) 10 days after taking my exam.

3. My license showed up on breeze 17 days after taking my exam.

The anxiety waiting for your results is much worse than when waiting to test! But, I have read some posts of people getting their results much faster than I waited in CA and also some who waited the full 6 weeks. I also kept checking the bvnpt site for processing times, and that wasn't accurate itself. Said they were processing initial license applications from a week before I paid for mine but it had already posted. So, who knows. CA has a random way of posting results.

Best of luck to you!! Hope you passed ?

Omg I'm so anxious now! I was waking up a lot last night, even worst that the night before I took the exam.

I have no choice but to keep waiting! and thank you, I will be checking Breeze in a couple days! ?

Was this for the NCLEX-RN or PN?

Specializes in LVN.

I passed the NCLEX PN on 8/21, and I checked my breeze, I went through until last step to make a payment for initial license, but I haven’t received the confirmation letter yet, does anyone know , do I still need to wait for the letter to pay, or I can pay right now, because I have a job waiting for me already. And do I need to attach any file to finish the payment?

Did you attach a file with payment?!

I’m wondering if this is the same for the psychiatric technician exam

I took my exam on 09/21 as of 09/24 breeze showed the option to pay for initial licensure so I did. Prior to that I didn’t have that option. But now I’m afraid cause I called bvnpt and they said just cause it lets you doesn’t mean anything. But I’m suspecting he told me that cause otherwise he would have been basically Telling me my results which he informed me was “illegal” for him to do lol

but everything I’ve read on here and from others say you pass if it generates you to pay for the license
