California nclex results, how long?

If you have Micosoft Word, they offer a nice format.
A picture is nice but is not necessary.
The CVs that I have seen from other countries in Europe and Asia actually have the same format that we do.
If you put one together, I will be happy to look at it for you............ :)

Hello again,
I sat the nclex on July 7, not sure how i done computer shut of in 75, hope ive passed but not to confident, anyway does anybody know how long i have to wait for the results is there a quick way to find out cheers. Do they take longer if your an overseas test taker. Do california post your name on the website if you dont have a ssn? if anybody can help, i would be most gratefull thanks again

just wanna ask bout how long after you send the application did you recieve your ATT?

Are all these the necessary requirements I'll pass??

1. the application

2. two fbi cards (for the SSS. space what should I place? I ask someone from an agency and they told me to place FOREIGN EDUCATED NURSE)

3. bank cheque of $107 ( I placed there payable to: CALIFORNIA BOARD OF REGISTERED NURSING, is this correct?)

4. Authenticated diploma from my nursing school

5. Letter of explanation (since my hard license is not yet available, it will take 3 months for the releasing of the hard license)

Did you sent it through fedex? If so, was it the only applicatoin or you sent it with others...

For the SSN#, you leave it blank. The SSN# is for the Internal Revenue Service for taxes, and where you had your education has nothing to do with that. Just leave it balnk on any application that you see it on. California will not give you an actual license until you send them the number.

You can send it with a group of applications, but the envelope from each school needs to be in its own sealed envelope from the school.

Have you taken the English exams and do you have a Visa Screen Certificate already?

Rigth now, if you have everything completed and have an employer, the time is less than about 8 months for Calfiornia. But that could change at any time. It will also depend on the visa situation when you have everything completed.

California will not post your name on the website because you won't actually have a license number assigned to you until you have a Social Security Number. There is no quick way of finding out, just keep checking your mailbox. You eil not receive a license but a letter that states that you have passed NCLEX and have met the requirements for licensure and that you have three years to get the SSN# to them or you will have to begin the application process all over again. The wait time can be two to three weeks before the letter will go out, then my mail, not courier service.
This is one of the major reasons that I suggest that no foreign nurse get initial licensure in CA. If you want to endorse to another state you are literally in a heap of hot water as they say here because you do not have license to endorse until they have the SSN#.

Hi Can California Board passer be endorsed in the state of UTAH or in ARIZONA ? I have a SSN i got it as not valid for employment and i want to find out if i will have to used same SSN if i will get the license already. Your advice is much appreciated.

You can easily endorse to another state, but only after you have been assigned an actual license number by CA.

Not sure on the specifics with the SSN#. It will be up to CA if they issue you the license without a "full-service" number.

hi suzzane..i took my nclex RN dec29.05...and until now i havnt seen any result to the BRN..i have SSN#..do u think there's still a possibility that the result had just been delayed...or....u know

because they said that the result appear 3- 4days..its so hard to wait..im trying to think positive about it but the exam for me had bn really hard..i got more than 200 questions..im not sure when it exactly stop..i hope God will make a miracle in me cuz i really did my best preparing for it.

It can be any time from 4 days to about one month. There is no set time frame. You also have to take into account that CA does a review of each file once it is complete by a human, and last week was a holiday week, and most offices did not have full staffing. I suggest that you give it at elast another week or so.

There is nothing that can be done to speed them up. Sorry.

Not sure who told you that routinely they are posted in three to four days, that is definitely not the case, more like ten days on average. Thier goal may be the 4 days, but that is definitely not the usual.
