i'm not sure if there is any thread cirrculating on this website but i did want to make one dedicated for california lvn nclex takers to get their mind of the exam and have a eta of their results.
if any has update of what date bvnpt is correcting post here!
just called the bvnpt for california and they are correcting april 27, 2008 exams. i took my nclex-pn on may 3rd and they said i can expect it within 1 week.

Sorry, but you have totally wrong information. The Board does not check exams, the score is actually sent to them directly from Pearson-Vue; they have nothing to do with correcting the exams at all. The exam that you wrote was a CAT exam so no scoring like you are imagining.
They receive your results and then review your file and that is what is being done, not correcting results.
Average wait time is three weeks but at times when there is an increase in the number of applicants, then the wait can be a month or so.
CA is also nice in the fact that they do not charge for the license until one passes the exam; every other state makes you pay for the license each time that you take the exam, if more than one attempt is required.
You will receive a letter in the mail, if you passed the exam, there will be a bill for the license that will need to be paid before your license number is released.
