California LVN Temp License

Hi everyone, I passed my NCLEX and I used the new system on the Breeze site to pay for my license fee on 6/10/16 and I am currently still waiting for my license to come in the mail. A few of my classmates took the NCLEX a month before me and still have not gotten their license.. I don't want to wait 3+ weeks for my license.

Does anyone know if i can drive down to Sacramento and request a temporary license if I show them my receipt about paying online? I've heard they will only give you a temporary license if you go any pay the license fee with them in person but that was with the old system, when we had to mail in our payments. I'm wondering if its different now in 2016 with the new online payment system - with instant receipt for proof of payment-- please let me know! This wait time is killing me, i need to start working!!
