California FNP license timeline 2019

Hello everyone,

I took and passed the AANP exam right after graduation (Dec.2018) and before my nursing degree was conferred. I had already submitted a application for my FNP license with the CA BRN the beginning of November so that I don't have to wait a long time for that (12-14 weeks processing). I found out my school just recently sent out my final transcripts to AANP on 1/11. I was wondering if anyone was on the same boat as me in waiting for the CA BRN or has a timeline they can share of when you received your license #. I have a job waiting for me and I am getting anxious that they won't wait several more weeks for me.

Thank you!

Congratulations on passing the AANP! Any tips you would like to share? I take it next month and am getting more nervous by the day.

I applied to the CA BRN 10/13 and they reviewed my application two weeks ago. I had a piece missing so I had to submit the missing part and received my license number this week. If you look on the CA BRN website it has the processing times listed and right now they are reviewing applications submitted the first two weeks of November. Did you apply for your furnishing number at the same time?

Thank you! My main study source was the Liek book where I studied each section/took notes and I watched Hollier review online which was provided by my school. I also bought the question flashcards by Liek and made sure to complete all the questions and rationales, I also had the app.

They have processed my application but I have missing verification forms from my school so I have to wait for that and also AANP to send my results in. Just a waiting game now. AANP told me it takes 10-15 business days to upload my transcripts.

Kudos to passing.
