  1. I failed my first time too. I recently took it again and passed. Between the two exams, I did multiple (more than 10 tests) on Exam edge. I did one test on APEA, I did the PSI practice tests, and I did Leik questions. I think the Exam Edge questions are the most similar to the actual exam, I took the AANP, and I felt much more prepared the second time around. I think if I had done those the first time, I would have passed but the test was so different from Leik and Fitzgerald that it threw me off. I used Leik as a study guide and to look up things that I did not know. I also used the online app to do questions when I was out and about and had down time. The other thing that I did the second time around was make post its with the answers and rationale to questions I got wrong. For example, Burney's point would get a post it, and I put it up on the wall of the area I was studying. I had it color coded by disease process, pharm tips, lab tips, a section that was just memorization like Burney's point, and test taking tips. Good luck on your next attempt!
  2. With all the questions you did, which test bank do you think most accurately reflected the difficulty level of the AANP exam? Thanks!
  3. Congratulations on passing the AANP! Any tips you would like to share? I take it next month and am getting more nervous by the day. I applied to the CA BRN 10/13 and they reviewed my application two weeks ago. I had a piece missing so I had to submit the missing part and received my license number this week. If you look on the CA BRN website it has the processing times listed and right now they are reviewing applications submitted the first two weeks of November. Did you apply for your furnishing number at the same time?
  4. Congratulations! Are you going to accept your spot? I had to make a decision already regarding a different school I was accepted at for summer semester so I am not accepting the spot at UMKC.
  5. I heard back today and was accepted. Have you heard back? Good luck!
  6. Hi Krysten, When did you get here back of UofC? I applied for the MSN program for fall 2017 but have not heard back yet. Good luck with your program!
  7. I have yet to hear and last I checked, they aren't giving a date to hear back by anymore. Rather, a vague few more weeks answer is being given.
  8. I have not, have you? I guess they are running behind schedule.
  9. I am also from the Bay Area and live on the Peninsula. As far as I've heard, the program is 100% online and will not have any labs on campus. I won't be working while in the program. I have two young children and volunteer at a crisis center and am on the Board at my son's school so my schedule will be fairly full. Are you going to work? Are you doing the program FT or PT?
  10. I am enrolling there. Have you contacted an admissions counselor with your questions? Or have you had your onboarding call with the student support manager? Either of them should be able to answer those questions. Do you live in the Bay Area? I do and I'm curious how many people who enroll will be local to the school.
  11. I talked to someone last Wednesday who said that they hoped to have decisions out by this Wednesday (3/22).
  12. I got an acceptance letter for my MSN-FNP from the same school got my BSN from. I am 90% sure I am going to attend with a big part of that being I already know the school and how to work inside their system.
  13. I got my acceptance email to Samuel Merritt College's BSN-->MSN-FNP online program. Still waiting to hear back from a couple of other places. Good luck everyone!
  14. I just found out that I was accepted to Samuel Merritt's MSN-FNP track for Summer '17. I looked on here for feedback about the online MSN-FNP program but found stuff mostly related to the ABSN or ELMSN program. Does anyone have any feedback on the online MSN program? Is anyone planning on enrolling in this class? Thanks!
