I took my NCLEX-RN on August 12th, 2009. I am in California. I wanted to know if anybody would know a answer to my question.. Let me explain.
I failed to disclose a misdeamenor on the application, I thought since my record was sealed I didnt have to disclose that information. I received a letter from the board 5 days before my test date and I was to submit certified court documents, my reason for not disclosing information, reference letters and so forth. I gathered all that information and mailed it overnight delivery. They were to receive paperwork on the day of my test date, which was August 12th.
DO you think it is possible that my results will be on hold until they make a decision regarding the matter? I did the PVT and got the "pop up screen" that everybody on this site has talked about. It didnt allow me to get to cc page. I dont see my name on BON webpage. I dont know what to think.
Im thinking that my results are on hold till I hear from the board regarding the matter at hand. I dont know what to think. Im so nervous though cas Im thinking I didnt pass. I have been on this website everyday, many times a day to relieve my anxiety. Does anybody know how they handle situations like this and if you know that results will be on hold till they make a decision?? Any help please?? Thank you very much

Servant84--I can try to give you a bit of insight on the "on hold" message. Long story really short, I took my NCLEX-RN on 7/31 and soon after got the very same annoying "on hold" message and, needless to say, promptly freaked out. So anyway, 48 hours later I tried to see if my quick results were up and they weren't (despite the fact that my state does participate in that feature). So, I called the NCSBN and I was told that they were on hold because my test had been randomly chosen for review for "quality control purposes". Apparently, each day that the test is given, a certain number are randomly picked and reviewed to make sure that all the testing procedures were followed etc, etc. A few other people on allnurses.com that got that pop-up said that they were put on hold because their fingerprint cards hadn't been sent in, and one person said she got hers put on hold because she is a really fast test taker and finished the 75 nclex questions in 35 minutes (which apparently threw up a red flag, and the NCSBN pulled her test for review..I guess b/c they thought it looked suspicious). Anyway, fast forward to August 7, my results were finally released and I found out that I had passed it in 75 questions. So, the bottom line to all of this is...if you got a pop-up (even the one that said "results on hold") and you could not go past it (i.e. you didn't go all the way to the credit card page) then there's a really, really, really good chance that you passed the test. I've never seen someone on here that got the "on hold" thing that later found out they failed. Everyone I've seen that confronted this, me included, passed the test (it just took several days to find that out...which sucked for me, cuz I'm in a state that has quick results..LOL).So, don't worry about it...you very, very, very likely passed it.

Moved to the nursing with criminal history forum
Questions we seem to be encountering more and more often have to do with the effects of a criminal history on nursing licensure:
Is it possible to become licensed as a nurse if you have a criminal history?
Is it possible to become licensed as a nurse if you have a MIP, DUI, or other related charges?
What happens if you are charged or convicted of a crime after licensure?
Can I go to nursing school and/or be licensed if my record has been sealed or expunged?
Will I be able to go to nursing school with a criminal record?
What can happen if I receive a MIP/DUI/DWI or other charge while still in school?
These are questions that the members of allnurses.com cannot answer. The only reliable source of information is your State Board of Nursing. Each case is dealt with on an individual basis. Your results will not be released until the BRN makes a decision and will issue a license
