California BRN license verification.

Does anyone know whether or not the California BRN website updates it's licensing verification every hour? or QD? I took the exam 1/30/06 and answered questions to 75. Still no results this 2/2/06 morning. It seems like the average person who passes at 75 gets their results within 2-3 days? Is this true.

is there any way i could follow up the status of my request for License Verification in California Board of Registered Nursing? I badly need it since it is the only requirement lacking for my Visa Screen to be completed. and I badly need my visascreen certificate so that my working visa could be processed right away.

i am so afraid that my employer could not wait for me. :(

and, is there any chance that the employer would change their mind in hiring me? I already passed the final interview and they said they are hiring me. The Human Resources Department will give me the job offer tomorrow as they said, am I already assured that I get the job when I finally have the job offer?

There are several threads discussing this in the International forum (found under the region tab above) unfortunately you can not rush Ca but they usually are reasonably quick in sending verification to ICHP. Depending on where you trained you averagely look at 4 weeks if trained in the US and up to 4 months if trained outside the US

Do you know if I have to send 2 bachelor degree transcript to BRn? The first bachelor has nothing to do with nursing. I took all the prerequistes in other community college and got into ASBN. Can I just send the bachelor of nursing transcript and one other college for prerequisites & GE for nursing?

Contact numbers will be on their website however many have posted that it is hard to discuss anything with a 'live' person

I have found that the only way I was able to deal with them was to go in person. I never got a response to letters, emails, or phone calls. Nevertheless, you need to inquire with them.

my cousin took her nclex @ roseville, california last 2008. her name was posted with her license number at the online license verification (www.brn.ca.gov) 3 days later. i knew a lot of friends who saw their names online 3 days after they took the exam.

For what its worth... I took my NCLEX RN in CA on 2/26... its coming up on two weeks and I have not heard athing back from the BRN, I check the website and my mail every day... and so far nothing. Today I called the BRN to chekc to make sure all my paperwork was there... and it was... its a pain in the ass to get a hole of them. but if you keep calling and calling and calling, they eventually pickup. My test stoped at 75 questions.... I hoping thats a good thing. All I can do is wait, and hope :cool:

:confused:I was able to sit for Boards in March 2010, but my school wouldn't print transcripts until end of term. I took NCLEX in March, was issued an IP...I called recently and they wouldn't disclose my results over the phone but they did say they had my results in and my file just needed the official transcript. TODAY, I picked up my official transcript from school finally and sent it overnight via FedEx to their physical address counter (not P.O. box) and I'm wondering how soon they'll post my license on the verification website????! They've already confirmed that my file and results are ready and just pending transcripts, I'm hoping they'll post this week! Anyone have a similar experience?
