I can say I'm fed up with the whole process. I can never get a clear answer to my questions which are as followed; what is the time frame for a military spouse applying for RN Endorsement? What is the status of my RN Temp license since you cashed my money order? *I can't track it through Breeze &I was told when my money order is cashed then they will create a file* How is the liaison for military spouses? * oh believe me that question ruffled their feathers* Why is my temp license not issue if you see I have everything required in your system?
Yup this was just a portion of my questions and the lady was very short with me. I kept getting it takes 8 to 12 weeks to process your application. Which is against the law right since military spouses get the expedited application process???? Im FRUSTRATED!!! I've emailed , faxed, and called to only get the freaking run around from this office.
Im graduating next June and I am moving out of CA. So Even though I graduate here, I am going to test here when I graduate, but testing under a BRN that is part of the compact states. (CA Is not one of them, shocker, its like "la la" land out here). Since I am moving, and I have always heard what a nightmare CA BRN is, I would rather jump through much smaller and many fewer hoops than where I live now in CA. I am sure they will appreciate one less application. Lol.
Now I'm really pissed off with them. I have filed 2 complaints against the board.My application is not even put together completely. AND they have everything they need in their system to process at least my temporary license!
I also did not bother with paying for a temporary, as I was told that I would receive it expired and within the same time frame with being a military spouse.
So I lost the job offer because my license hasn't come in yet. I also found out the board made a mistake on my application. They didn't process me as a military spouse. So yup I'm bummed and beyond pissed.
My husband is in the Navy. I am just finishing my school and I am taking my NCLEX in my home state (much faster) and transfering over with the military spouse expedite. Do you have any tips...I have not been able to get the CA BON on the phone. Did you do your livescan in california or in another state? Did you go to BON and drop off your application? Thanks!
Believe me you can never get the BON on the phone and of course you can never get a straight answer. I went to the Governors office to finally get a response and my license which I have held for over 20 years..One reason I am in Nevada today
