I've heard about a few people who weren't residing in California and they were working in a different state; they were able to take those required courses from that state by asking their analyst if that's possible. You might need to contact your analyst if that'll happen.
I did hear also some people who flew from Texas to California schools to take the classes and then they'd go back to Texas to work; that was their weekly thing. I don't know how they managed it but prolly they asked their managers to balance out their schedules.

Okay. I don't get it. Prior to your previous comment, you said that you live in California and you want to move to Texas in the future; and now you said that you don't have RN license in California but you have RN license in Texas and New York. What is your main concern? Seems like your goal to transfer to Texas is already giving you a signal and hope cuz you already have RN license in Texas. Do you want your RN license in Texas to be endorsed in California?
Sorry for the confusion . I just curious about how the whole transfer things going with you. and since you live in Texas, I wonder why don't you want to work in Texas as RN . As I know California is always packed up for new grads RNs. So I am not sure maybe you have different opinions.
I actually use to think about endorse to CA before, but the whole thing is way to complicated and takes way more longer time for international RNs to get license here.
Since you mentioned you also foreign RN, that's why I paid more attention to your post. Maybe you have different thoughts.
Overall , Good luck . Hope things goes well with you.

Based on the poster's info, she hasn't mentioned if she already has the RN license in Texas. I'm grasping that she wanted to apply for the California BRN regardless if she has the RN license in Texas or not, but she has to apply as a foreign grad.
Yes, California is super strict. Thousands have been affected, and are still affected. I live in California. Came here in 2012. Took me 6 years to be done with the schooling that they required me (Med-Surg and OB), please include the months and years looking for affordable school.
You actually have the advantage: you already have the RN license in Texas. So you just have to ENDORSE your RN license here in California. I had a classmate during my Med-Surg and OB schooling, he was still required to get these courses even though he has the RN license in Texas. The other one has RN license in New Mexico. Remember, it still depends on your transcript/curriculum how the analyst from the BRN will evaluate your education background. Maybe you won't be required, or maybe you will. You won't know until you will apply for endorsement. So apply first if you still want to consider staying here in California.
