Hello everyone. Im new to this site so forgive me if this has been brought up a million times. I know many have waited 3-4 weeks but has anyone waited longer than that for their results? I took my test on October 4th and I was hoping to get something the mail today but nada. The anticipation is killing me.

i just took the cali board just a week now is there any other means one can know their result does it means the NCLEX does not tell if one passes or fall or why does it take so long others just take 48 hrs so what if one fail what and one has to scheudle another date and it takes on 45 days and one has waited 30 days already i think i will keep on studying what ever happens happens

thanks

To clear up a few things for all of you:

If you do not have a SSN#, then results are mailed to you and a license is never issued; so you will not see your name on their website until you provide them with that. They do not send out the letters until about 2 1/2 weeks later and you need to allow about ten days for overseas mail delivery making it about a month.

Only 27 states out of 50 actually participate in Quick Results, so it is not just CA that does not.

CA will permit a new CA grad to sit for the exam before they have the final transcripts received; they cannot issue a license without a completed file on you, so that is why you may not see results posted.

The LPN license is handled out of a completely different Board than the BRN; they do things differently and actually give you a break as they do not make you pay for the license until you pass the NCLEX-PN exam.

Best of luck to all of you.

How do you know that your file is complete? There is no way to know if something is missing with your fingerprint report or that they have received your transcripts. Just because a school sent them in on such and such day, does not mean that they received it.

Anything can happen and that is why we always state to contact them if you do not hear or see anything in two weeks. Calling before and it just delays everyone, most hear by that two week time period.

june 16 - i took the pn exam.stopped at 205

july 14- the board of lvn send me a letter tellng me that there was a problem with my livescan

-did a new livescan and mailed it to the board of lvn

july 22 - i called the lvn and asked if they already received my livescan and they said yes..They told me that i'll be expecting my result this week..hope that i passed.

You are talking of the PN exam and license. The above poster is talking about the RN exam.

They are both handled completely different.

sorry miss suzanne

Nothing to be sorry for, it can be quite confusing as there are so many differnences in how things are done with both licensing divisions.

Those that do not have SSN#s also wait four to six weeks to get their results with the RN exam.
