Hello

Is anyone applying to Cal State San Marcos for Fall 2010? :lol2::D:p:redbeathe:rolleyes::)

wow that does sound pretty cheap. Channel islands is not the greatest place because they give way to many points for residency but dont feel bad. I just found out I made it to SFSU still wailing on my 3 other schools good luck for the rest of your school

Ya, that was my last choice school. Grats on getting info SFSU!!! IF you don't mind me asking, whats was your GPA's and TEAS score? If you don't want the whole forum to know, you can send it to me in a private message. I'm just curious because I feel like Ill never get into a program!! :crying2:

I have no problem telling you I am actually shocked I made it in I think I had a 3.6 or a 3.7 it was like 3.6777 I think but they did not ask for teas scores at SFSU I did not see it also they had the supplemental area and I got 2 parts from that area for volunteering at various places. When I called they said that it was a 3.6 but you had to have strong backups like the supplemental areas so I am quite shocked I made it best of luck to you

Did you receive an email asking if you wanted your application to be included for the fall cohort?

no i applied to fall 2010 but havent even gotten into the school when i called they said they had limited funds and could only take people from there area first. I dont think I am going to pay the deposit to hold my spot when I am not even in the school so no CSUSM for me good luck to everyone else

FYI if you get accepted into the program, let the advisors know that you haven't been accepted by the university yet. The advisors will get a hold of the university and you'll be accepted. that exact same scenario happened to me

Hey, guys! I just wanted to let you know that I was accepted into the Fall 2010 cohort. So you should be hearing back real soon hopefully, if everything in your file is complete! :) Oh, and I have a question for those in the program already. How much is the program? I keep hearing around $30K, but that was a couple of years ago and I'm not sure if that's for the full 2 years or not. I asked my counselor all these questions but forgot to ask about that. :p I did receive a breakdown of fees in my evaluation, but I'd rather have it in total. Thanks and good luck, you guys!

If they quoted you $30K, then you must be in the accelerated BSN program? if that's the case, the numbers I've heard from previous ABSN grads was around that or higher, depending on their living expenses....Congrats. BTW for those that applied to the Generic BSN program that starts Fall 2010, you should know around July 1st. The last day to turn in transcripts is June 30th, and they evaluate those real quick, and make the decision on the 1st, and start notifying people. So soon
