Is anyone applying to Cal State San Marcos for Fall 2010? :lol2::D:p:redbeathe:rolleyes::)

I haven't heard from them either. I wasn't expecting them to contact me until like June when they will send out acceptence/denial letters.... Which is soooo far away!

I'll let you know if I hear from them. :)

thanks. They sent an email saying that they would let us know if our application has moved on and if we are missing anything! I am worried i want to find out already. Have you gotten an acceptance into the SChool in general?

Ohh right! I did get that email awhile back saying they would contact us.

And nope, no word from the actual school yet. Gosh they take there time letting us know! I have only got one acceptance from an actual school so far, out of 3.

I have gotten 2 out of 4 when i called admissions they said that they might not take people from an "outside" area due to budget cuts they are going to review their in the area apps first. They said they don't start reviewing till feb 1st so we will be waiting for some time

Ya, at CSU Channel Islands, they say we are guaranteed an admission decision by March 31st. They start reviewing Feb 1st. I'm not sure if this is the case with every CSU... but I would guess it would be! So hopefully we will hear from CSUSM by the end of the month sometime.

I've got my fingers crossed for CSU Stanislaus. The cost of living is SO cheap! Which would mean my loans would be cut in half. And the school I've heard is great. I'll hear from there nursing department in April.

I am waiting on CSUB right now. There program is 21 months which is super fast but the work seems heavy. I hope we both get into our school of choice gl :] ill keep you posted!

Ha! I just got the email from them letting me know that my application is all set and will be moving forward. We won't get a decision until all Spring grades are in... So, around July 1-3rd. Ughhh so far away!! You should have gotten or will get your email soon!

Same here... And I looked over the admission statistics as well as the criteria, and I don't think Ill have enough points to get in.. But guess we will see.

CSU Stanislaus is in Turlock, near Modesto. Yes, it is very cheap to live there. A 1 bedroom can go as low as $600, and renting a room can be as low as $300! All the other places I've applied (CSUSM, CSUCI) average around $1000 for a 1 bedroom apt and like $500-1000 for a room.

I wasn't accepted into CSU Channel Islands... Over 300 applications for 33 spots... OUCH! Also I wasnt one picked for the lottery at Mendocino College. Still 3 more schools to hear from!!
