I recently graduated from an LVN to RN Associate Degree program. I just got my CA license in the mail. I have a question about the documents that the CA board sent to me seperate from my license. Hope you can help. They sent me a certificate of Registered Nurse. Does everyone in CA that is an RN get this regardless of education level? I thought that certificate registered nurses were the LVN 30-unit option. Confused.
Thanks!

I have my bachelor's and also received a certificate when I got CA reciprocity. I assumed it was something nice-looking so you didn't have to frame your wallet card to hang on the wall...but I could be mistaken.

A certificate from the board of consumer affairs I'm assuming? I got one too with my ADN. I am under the impression that everyone who passes the NCLEX gets one.
