CA BVNPT - LVN inquiries and updates for international students

Hi, I thought it'd be best for all the international students that are having the issues with the CA BON due to the stricter enforcement of the rules and regulations and are now having to take another nursing route that of being a LVN, taking the tests related to being an LVN, transference of your records from the CA BON to BVNPT, etal, would be best served here rather than being posted in the other LVN-LPN forum, since that forum is geared more towards those educated in the States.

The other few forums of the CA Board of Nursing, CA RN NCLEX-RN, etc are getting too cluttered now, since the situation of going after the RN license is different than the LVN license.

Need Advice please help. I graduated from the Philippines, a registered nurse and now migrating here in california. Planned on taking the RN exam unfortunately I found out that I still need to study for few subjects. I am 40 and a mother of 3 so decided won't resort to studying instead I will take LVN exam. Not a computer savvy, visited BVNT website and confuses me a lot with the requirements, the forms, what to submit etc. Want to know what form do I need to submit to my Philippine school inorder to request my transcript for LVN exam requirements in california. Will this be provided when I signed up to BVNT website and or when I submitted my application form? Please walk me through. Appreciate all the help and suggestions.

I'd like to ask about the need for CGFNS/ CES report? Did you process that? Another is, I already have a CES report done for RN and an Applicant's Copy. Will that suffice the need? Or I will need to reapply in CGFNS particularly for BVNPT?

I'm really hoping you could still see this and reply the soonest. Than you!

You will need to pay CGFNS to send a copy as generally information has to come direct from agency performing the report

If you already have CES report you can ask for a copy to be sent to the state board of nursing
