I received my permission to test from the CA BRN about three weeks ago. Also with it was a letter stating that they hadnt received my transcripts. I called the Ca BRN and they stated that I needed to contact my school. I contacted my school and they said they had mailed my transcripts December 9th 2011. I took my NCLEX RN January 6 2012. I was just wondering what I should do next? The BRN stopped accepting phone calls because they are so busy and in undated with calls. But I need my license ASAP. I have a job that starts Feb 6th and it requires a license. Not just an IP, I have that. Also when I took the test it was 75 questions and I got the "good" pop up. I just don't know what to do because both places are saying to contact the other. And both the BRN and my university are far from where I live now. My classmates have already got their licenses. Help is appreciated

I have the same predicament with some of you. I took NCLEX-RN in June 14, 2012 and it's almost three weeks and I haven't received any letter from the board nor seeing my name in the BRN IP/Temporary license verification site. But before taking the test, I received a letter from the Board informing me that I am missing transcripts of records of my pre-requisites i.e., A/P, Micro, Gen Psych, Social Sciences and Oral/Written Communication. I thought that my graduating school will post these courses on my transcripts since I submitted these to them prior to entering the program. To make the story short, these incomplete requirements stalled my results and/or my license (in case I passed). I am calling the board everyday to ask for the status of my results since I already sent them out whatever I am missing. I had the chance to talk to my evaluator once but it is hard for me to get a hold of him this time. I am spreading the words to future test-takers to avoid this mistake and be proactive when the Board sends some letter asking you for any missing requirements to your application. Don't make the same mistake that I did, just send them whatever they need. On the side bar, I am getting the good pop-up and I just hope that it will really turn out positive. I already accepted the fact that in case I didn't make it, I'll just take it again by the end of the month. I just feel so stuck right now and not knowing what to do, either to review again or touch base with prospective employers. Waiting sucks but what can I say, I did this to myself .
