Hi guys I am a new subscriber to this forum. I am an Iranian /Australian nurse educated in Australia. my family and I are planing to move to Texas . I have a year experience in aged care ( nurse in charge) . just wondering to know how is nursing market there specially aged care nursing. and can somene advise me about the house price there as well. thanks alot in advance

lovely, thanks very much for your help and I hope u are working now and everything been sort out fr you . I read the tread and I am guessing you have SS# and are USA citizen. by the way is nursing prospect poor there, I heard lots of nurses have faced difficulties to get a job there. Cheers

no I do not have SS# at the moment , but might be able to obtain through my husabnd job ( am I right?), if nursing job in California is difficult where is USA there is more nursing job avilable? can u advise me ? so I directly apply to that state thx a million

I am thinking of moving to USA with my family and do nursing there. as you been there for couple of years I greatly appreciate to give me advise and answer my Qs. first of all I am an aged care nurse graduated july 2010 , how is aged care nursing in USA? any job opportunity? which states are easier or quicker to get license and more job avilable there? I initially planed for Cali but with SS# looks impossible to start off with . can you please advise me

Hi Jocelyn how long it took to get your ATT? and have you done any Pead or Women clinical placement when student in the uni? as I did not have any such types placements. further more how long you been studying for NCLEX? and guidence regards to books and material is appreciated. I have plan to get registration for CA .

Hi I just have a question, in A.U in the uni which I study we didn't have any Pead or Women clinical placement do you think this is gonna be an issue and I have to do a bridge course? any help is appreciated
