So...I have a job offer at a reputable hospital. I haven't given my two week notice yet because at this point the job offer is unofficial and contingent on background check. Now, my background check will be fine; I have great credit, references, etc. Should I wait until the official job offer to give my notice? The hiring manager offered me the job unofficially on the spot and we agreed on a rate, and I'm excited about it. The patient ratios at my current job still make me ill and ready to run away as fast as possible!! I want to give my notice, like, yesterday!!
I agree my present job gave me a start date and then it was pushed back two weeks so glad I waited until the final offer was on the table before quitting. I was able to work till the weekend before and then I was able to quit. I know you are excited about the possibilities but you need the written offer first.
Too bad there are only 4 dancing superheros.Next time title the thread after a 98 Degrees song.

This prompted me to purchase a new 98 Degrees ringtone. "You're the sunshine after the rain [AN]. You're the cure against my fear and my pain [AN]. 'Cause I'm losing my mind when you're not around. It's all. It's all because of you.":barf02:

Another vote for "wait for the offer." Until then anything could happen.
