Well, it's done. As I stood over the fire, I couldn't help but study them a little bit, looking them over one last time before I burned each one. It's a good thing that I gave some to my daughters to burn.
I figure that if I pass, I won't need them again, and if I don't... well, I'll need a new gameplan anyway, so no harm done. It was therapeutic, a way to say goodbye to the beast that has tormented every waking moment since I graduated...
Well, thanks for the happy thoughts. However, if I didn't pass, then they weren't helpful anyway. I didn't buy them, they were simply index cards with notes written on them...
I kept my stuff.... Flashcards,note books, etc. for 3 years...after I passed the NCLEX I just cleaned out my office. this summer. I admire your courage. it was still hard to let it go.......
