Just wondering if anyone else is applying to Burlington County College for Fall 2009?
Also, I would be curious to hear from current students as to what they think of the program.

it would be nice to contact us first when these issues come up instead of sending a denial right away. Now I will be a nervous wreck until I hear about Spring 2010!

I am with you there.
I am so stressed out. Getting into the program is just the beginning. It changes work. I have 3 kids I have to think about.
yeah, I have 2. But my hubbie is very supportive and knows in the long run we will be better off once I get through school. Please let me know how you make out for Fall 2009, and good luck!
My husband is very supportive as well. The problem is that he leaves for work at 6am so dealing with the kids will be my problem. I have always been home with my children so it is going to break my heart to leave them with someone else. My kids are 14, 10, and almost 6 so the 6 yr old is the one I have to worry about. It stinks that 2 days a week school is only from 8-9:50. My daughters school bus comes at 8:30. Basically I will be home all day accept when she needs me. I fixed the transcript problem and they told me because all of my credits I am on the top of the waiting list.
well good luck. will you apply for Spring 2010, also? I have a 10 yrd old and 1 yr old, my husband and I were both laid off so everything is up in the air.
I am applying for spring. I care for children in my home but have lost half my business due to lay offs. I need a change. My husband is still working but it is a week to week thing. Good luck to you also.

Hi,
I'm also at BCC, trying to get thru my pre-reqs. Does anyone know that actual cut-off dates to apply? I was hoping to apply for spring 2010 but I won't be done all my classes until fall 09. I'm going to take the NET probably next month but my understanding is that you won't be accepted anyway until all prereqs are completed soooo how does it work if I need to apply prior to then?
I also don't understand why you need all the prereqs. It is supposed to be a 2 year program but if it takes me another year & 1/2 for prereqs then another 2 years for the nursing program.... I feel like I could have completed a BS by then! ;-)
Thanks
That is just how they do it. They accept the people with the most credits already completed and they have so many applicants they can do whatever they want. The intent forms can be picked up now and mailed after April 1st. I was accepted to another nursing program before this and decided to turn it down. They were the same way. You had to do whatever they wanted because there were so many applicants.
Were you able to fix the problem with your transcript? I fixed the problem with mine and I received an acceptance letter on 3/26. I already have 31 credits toward nusing program. 35 credits total. Good luck.
So exited!!! I received my acceptance letter from Burlington County College for Fall 2009. I was on a waiting list because they lost my transcript. Good luck to all.

I'm not sure if I was on a waiting list or not but I just got my acceptance letter for the fall semester on 3/25. I had to start my background check right away because I think they want that done before April 3rd. I am pretty excited because there was some trouble with paperwork I thought I was going to have to wait until the next semester.
