Olivet Nazarene FNP
Yes the cost and 2yr program attracted me as well as the good reputation of the school. Everyone I have dealt with so far has been great.

2 papers for the class. You have to participate in weekly discussions, I am not sure if there is a log in requirement, but if you participate in the discussions I assume it meets any requirement. It is a lot of writing.

Olivet Nazarene FNP Program Curriculum
congrats! I just started in February. So I am almost done my first class. It is fast paced but doable. I work full time and have a family. It is very organized and the semester is laid out so you know what is expected of you. If you are dedicated you will have no issues competing the course work.

Which South Jersey Hospital Should I choose for 1st RN Job???
Congrats. I guess part of it depends on whether you are interested in critical care. But based on your location and the choices of hospitals, if I were in your shoes I would choose Cooper.

Lol. My post was respectful I was just responding to you that your concerns with the program weren't the same as mine. Did you complete the program?

Olivet Nazarene FNP
I am in NJ so I was specifically looking for online. The program is affordable compared to others. I did my BSN online, so I am aware it is essentially self taught with some guidance. All programs I have looked into require you find your own preceptors. I already have a primary care preceptor lined up. I find it suspicious you just joined an hour ago and this is your only post?

I have been admitted, just waiting to hear if I am starting in February or May.

Recommendations for online FNP-30k range
@friskee they responded to my online application the next day. I was able to fax over unofficial transcripts, and I was conditionally accepted pending my official transcript that shows my BSN conferral on 12/11/15. So it was a quick process and they are very pleasant to deal with. Your GPA sounds fine.

Hello, cherub, thanks for the info, I am strongly considering Olivet for MSN FNP online. I am also considering Chamberlain, who has a strong presence on Facebook with groups, are you aware of any groups for Olivet?

Burlington County College Fall 2009?
I think 20 hours a week would be ok, the attendance is very strict, you can not miss more than 4 lectures, or 2 labs or 2 clinicals. Nur 119 was an adjustment but if you do what you are supposed to, you will make it through just fine. I got this book and it was a huge help: http://www.amazon.com/Fundamentals-Success-Applying-Critical-ebook/dp/B0026IUP72/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&m=AG56TWVU5XWC2&s=digital-text&qid=1284433837&sr=8-3

Burlington County College Spring 2011 does anyone know what schedule I should expect?
Hi-I started @ BCC Spring 2010. Here is the schedule: Mon: Lecture (Pemberton) 4pm-5:50pm Tues: Lecture (Pemberton) 4pm-5:50pm Wed: clinical either 4-10:30 or 4:30-11 Thurs: lab (Pemberton) 4-7 depending on your section your Wed & Thurs may be reversed they are very strict with attendance, and late=absent. If you miss more than 4 lectures for the semester, or 2 clinicals or 2 labs, you fail the whole thing. I was lucky to not be working the first semester, which was good, because besides the time you spend in class, you will spend a lot of time reading and studying. Also, our exams were on Friday afternoons, about once a month, and you had to be there at 3pm. Good luck, it is a great program. I think I got my acceptance letter sometime in Sept if I remember right.
