hi guys,. i am losing focus on review for nclex,. too much on my head! i already have now my eligibility to register at pearsonvue, the problem is i am not yet prepared to take the exam, and now i am currently a trainee for 3 weeks at a primary hospital that will soon absorb me as a staff,. and another conflict is by september 1 i will also scheduled a training for 2 months at a tertiary hospital but im not sure if they will hire me after i complete their trainings,.

any suggestions on what should i do??i will appreciate all of your inputs.. thanks!!GOD Bless to us all!!:saint:

I know government hospitals are hard to deal with employment here but private hospitals do hire nurses here in my place (Norhtwestern Mindanao). In fact in my hospital, they hire in a monthly basis because many employed RN's also are considering taking the foriegn exams and going abroad (Middle East) after gaining experience.

You are speaking of one facility, and we are talking about the majority of all of the islands. And there are two posters here from the same island that have been unable to get jobs as well as their batchmates.

So I would have to believe them as well first, one hospital does not make a country of jobs.

I dont have to convince you as I dont care if you believe me or not. I am just sharing my views straight from where I am, not from what I've heard and read.

generally speaking,. nurses here in the Philippines are really having difficulty in finding a job here,. a lot of luck from those who are urgently hired by the hospitals. Now i am scheduled for another training from a Tertiary Hospital,.and reviewing for NCLEX-RN exam at the same time,. eventhough ivolunteer work is not counted as working experience that are required in other countries, we have no choice. the important thing is we practice our profession and can help others at the same time.
